I am too. Not a bad landing spot by any means but I expected him to land something better if he was patient. Hell, I still expect LSU to do considerably worse than him, at least by resume. I guess he wanted to jump back in but I probably would have waited to see where I landed.

Maybe he chose VT for the same reasons that many say Kiffin should stay at Ole Miss. He can coach at VT and not be under the constant pressure cooker that comes with an LSU/Florida job, return them to relevance and be loved. I would assume the previous seasons at Penn State took a toll on him and his staff.
