Your knocks about Westy are the old way of thinking in the NFL. NFL receivers are not all 6 6, speed demons. Lots of NFL WR superstars are Westy sizes. Probably the 2 best WRs in the NFL are the same size of Westy (Antonio Brown & ODB).
As far as speed goes, you'd be surprised on how much great route running can overcome speed. But great speed can't overcome poor route running. Look at Anquan Boldin. He ran close to a 4.8 and has had an excellent career. I posted a while ago NFL superstars 40's & size and how they are close to Westy's measurables . He fits the mold of the Doug Baldwins, Edelmans, Cobbs, etc.
It's not his size holding him back. It's his history of being injured that's holding him back.
It all seemed to change around 2009's draft and the Heyward-Bey pick. Great size, great speed, but poor hands and route running.
