Darn if true. I've fought with him as much as anyone over the past year plus. We've made our peace recently which made me happy. But you have to understand you have a good chance of getting a time out when you can't keep from making it personal if that indeed was the case here.
For the 1st time in 12 years I've been seriously considering taking a break. There's little chance of taking actual football without it being hijacked or turning into a pissing match. I try to be civil but it keeps getting harder and harder and I fail too often by my own standards. I guess all this Flood stuff has made people nuts (not Nuts lol.). If everyone would just talk to each other the same as they would if you were face to face at a tailgate or in your living room, it'd be a whole lot better.
As the old saying goes, This too shall Pass.
There have been times over the years when reading this board has been difficult. But I believe that the present level of civility is better than when a certain high volume poster was allowed to run rough shod over everyone else.
My advice is to hang in there. We are all members of the same community that have common interests in all things RU. We may often disagree and sometimes things get a little testy among board members, but the next day most everything is forgiven.
The fact that I can now enjoy exchanging posts with former adversary Ron Jeremy is testament to that.
BTW, I now actually miss Ron's posts, especially in this time of uncertainty for RU FB. Even though he cannot post at this time he can still enjoy reading our posts about his contributions here.
So Ron has that going for him, which is nice. lol
