Our Journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Through the highs or the valley lows, stick to the Process, for in due time, we will reap a harvest

This guy is a cartoon. No, a sports-oriented televangelist. Next thing you know he will tell his boosters that God told him in a vision that he'll be put to death if they don't find a way to sign Nkemdiche.

I dont really see what's wrong with his tweet but to each his own.

After Liggins committed to LSU from the Oxford square, Freeze's daughter tweeted that it meant God has a better plan for Ole Miss.

Yeah, there is no denying they Freezus has fused religion and Ole Miss football.

If it were

genuine, i would agree, but it's obvious it's not. That's where I have a problem with it and think its a joke.

I don't see anything wrong with his tweets

I heard Freeze share his testimony to a student group back when he was an assistant at Ole Miss. I have no doubt he is sincere in his tweets that incorporate his faith. Props to him for using his faith as a motivating tool instead of the garbage some coaches use. The ones who don't like this sort of thing usually are those who don't share the same faith (or don't practice it).

His faith may be real. His Old Testament phraseology in everyday coach speak is ********. It's an act.

But hey, Jimmy Swaggart probably believed in God too.

Wow. You're REALLY, REALLY, REALLY creepy.

Freeze's daughter is 13, yet you keep up with their tweets? Wow. Dude, get some help. Seriously.

using his faith

Thanks for your input first-post guy with zero credibility. The problem is that he is USING his faith. Not sharing it, not living it, but USING it. I don't have a lot of respect for that. But you keep ******* that chicken!

It's not genuine, that's what's wrong.....

...I have no problem with Freeze doing his job, at this point the competition may make Mullen strive to do even better. But from a person who tries to live a Christian-esque life, it's sort of insulting to see a coach broadcast this obviously fake agenda. If he walks the walk, no need to put it out there in public.

But in the end, it's up to the kids being recruited to sort through the BS.

Freeze is exactly the guy OM needs him to be for now...

...When OM football is down & MSU football is up, the OM football coach is always the better Christian than the MSU coach. (Historical fact).

When OM football is down & MSU football is up, the MSU coach is a depraved pagan using witchcraft to win more games than OM (yes, a significant portion of the OM fanbase really believe this).

Meanwhile, God's true servant (in this case Freeze) considers a losing football program to be biblical trial by fire (yes, Freeze really believes this).

Once Freeze beats Mullen is an Egg Bowl, the OM fanbase will instantly demand Freeze knock off the Jerry Falwell act (yes, this will happen).

Nope. When they get that first win over Mullen, it will wipe away all the other losses and they will consider the evil vanquished. They will then never be able to imagine losing to us again. It WILL happen at some point and it will be unbearable. You will see the score plastered on anything that moves for a solid year and it will be celebrated like no other victory has been. They are DYING for it to happen.

They read a tweet on H2H the other day that sums it up. It said something to the effect of they (UM fans) don't want Mullen to take another job from stepping stone MooU because they want to shut him up when they beat his *** in the Egg Bowl.

What a nut. This reminds me of the Dubose Error... One year he said....

"God didn't want Alabama to beat Tennessee"...

I actually rooted for Alabama to lose a couple times when he was coach... that's how bad he was...

Yep. In fact, it's already started. Their arrogance has returned quickly--one win over Auburn, their first SEC win in SEVENTEEN conference games, and they are already talking about beating Georgia and LSU, and beating State is now a lock. Even though State is currently 6-0 and ranked #12 and even though State has beaten them 3 times in a row, if MSU beats them in Oxford this season, it will be a fluke win.

I think some of you really struggle with understanding metaphorical references and rhetorical speech in general. I don't blame you very much, you don't get to choose your genes and you likely didn't get to choose your educational system.

I'm so glad Mullen does't do that ****

I don't want my coaches opinion on politics, or stories about his religion. I want him to win football games.

Oh dear boy... enlighted us with your vast philosophical knowledge of life experiences. For we are mere hayseeds that struggle through life's trials and tribulations without your infinite clairvoyant wisdom.

[h=3]Matthew 6:1-4[/h]English Standard Version (ESV)

[h=3][/h]6 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. [SUP]3 [/SUP]But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, [SUP]4 [/SUP]so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

How do you know? Plus, who the hell are you to judge his faith?

You're quickly becoming more pathetic than C34.
