Why would they be playing Metea Valley?

What about DeKalb? Are they not playing a MSL team?

Also, does W-L record or student enrollment determine these matchups? I guess I am asking which criteria determines which MSL team faces off with which DVC team?

MV's schedule opened up. Shouldn't they be able to reach out to schools for games?
Fair but this seems like MV has to follow whatever the Napervilles do. So if North, Central, and Neuqua decide to play an MSL team to fill out the schedule, Waubonsie and Metea seemingly are forced to follow, which doesn't seem fair.

They could always find their own games. DeKalb opted not be part of this.

Do you have Palatine's? Their Hudl doesn't have anything yet. I'd heard about Kenwood, Waubonsie Valley and Rolling Meadows, but that's it

Metea Valley has no problem finding 4 non conference games.
Considering that MV has never finished a season with a winning record in its history and has won a grand total of 7 games in the past five years, it's not because it is particularly adept at scheduling that it has no problem finding non-conference opponents willing to say yes to a game.

I don't think you understand what MustangFB is saying. They're clearly alluding to the fact that Metea has no issues finding a non-conference game but because they're in the DVC, they seem to be forced to go along with whatever Naperville Central, Naperville North, and Neuqua want to do.

MV shouldn't have to play the same non-conference games that those three schools do.

One game with the other conference out of a total of four non-con games each year shouldn't be a big deal. Although MV has no problem scheduling games, as we both agree, this is just one less game that they have to schedule. Sometimes, schools do things for the good of the conference. Sometimes, it's a district decision and out of the individual school's hands.

Looks like the intra-conference games with the MSL is in week three and that the week two game against Plainfield Central is safe. :)

I guess we will see what happens with week 3 for MV.
