He’s really good. And getting better. Those shots he was taking earlier in the year have been mitigated. Watching him in person he plays very hard and is skilled. Can only imagine what he’s going to look like in a few years. Another great culture kid. Got a bunch in the program.

Liked how he's really cut down on the turn overs. Think he had to learn the hard lesson that sometimes what worked in HS isn't going to fly against the college players. We see less of him just trying to bulldoze through 3 defenders.

It's a big jump to come from high school and NAPS to starting on a B1G team. The learning curve is big. We haven't started too many first year's at attack over the years. Really only two I can think of. Most have gotten dripped in at attack or like we've seen from Ross Scott and Haydn Sommer, they get midfield runs before bumping down. I could see Sommer getting bumped down to X. At this point in the season you go with what got you here, but I could see a world were Sommer and Kelly get bumped down to attack and Kurdyla moves back to midfield. The more this team gets experience together the more deadly they will become. Sommer and Aiello together add some varied skill sets that would be intriguing together. That's all for another time though.
