I had seen his postgame comments yesterday about their decision to decline the penalty, but this is one case where you really need to watch it to get the full context. He mentioned elsewhere that he has a 23 year old son at the Air Force Academy(where he used to coach) and I can imagine that just the thought of losing him probably got to him at the moment while he was doing the press conference.
Just class all around on both sides here.

Wasn't at the game - but watched the video of the missing man formation several times now. A shout-out to the Fresno State players for being a class act too. If you watch the video you can see many of these young men clapping and paying respects to Sam Foltz while the play clock was running down. Class act all the way - I wish only the best for these young men and their coach. A heartfelt thank you to the Bulldogs.
