I guess you don't know what it means either.Code Pink is the first thing that comes to mind.

Well I've personally experienced negative behavior from individuals I've met when they found out I was military. It's not like it was during Nam with being spit on, but there are absolutely people that are anti-military, not just anti-war/anti-intervention.I guess you don't know what it means either.

I guess you have your definition, just asking WVPATX what his is.Well I've personally experienced negative behavior from individuals I've met when they found out I was military. You are falling victim to the same absolute type position you are trying to point out in WVPATX's post. It's not as big as it has been in year's past, but it exists.
Following the unprecedented success that was American Sniper,Clint Eastwood has zeroed in on a decidedly less controversial real-life figure as the subject of his next film: Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger.
Less controversial! So, an authentic American hero that killed the enemy saving countless lives is controversial to liberals? Was Sargeant York controversial? Was Audie Murphy controversial? Each day brings new amazement from libs.
Murphy and York killed white people. No controvery there.
Also, people weren't so bat $#!+ crazy then.
Clint Eastwood Says 'American Sniper' Makes An Anti-War Statementhttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/26/clint-eastwood-american-sniper-anti-war_n_6547068.html Relax Francis, some people like a movie, others don't like the same movie. You still seem to be confusing the movie with the person that it's about. The movie was villified by many on the left. What kind of country are we becoming? In every RATIONAL way, Kyle is a hero.

If libs don't like the movie don't go to see it. Why protest the movie? Why call Kyle a coward (as Michael Moore did). Why call Kyle a bigot and a murderer as many libs did? Why stop colleges from even showing the movie? I posted the goups in the Dembase that are reflexively anti military. It is shocking you don't admit they exist since they are very vocal. Again, this should not be a controversy. Hell, Harbaugh was forced to meet with students to explain why he showed the movie. Wake up.
lol You seem to hate freedom of speech and the people that exercise it. If only every person on the planet agreed with you, then the world would be a better place. Fortunately, that's not the world we live in.
You're probably the last person in America still talking about this movie. smhYou don't read your own posts. You posted:

I proved that it was far more than not liking a movie. And it was indeed about the military and the person. And that there is a reflexively anti military wing of the Dem party. The first amendment has nothing to do with this. Libs did not even want this movie to be shown.
You're probably the last person in America still talking about this movie. smh
But are they talking about it?Nope, you are wrong. It has been the most rented movie the past 2 weeks. This week it beat the #2 movie 4 to 1.
But are they talking about it?
As usual, you provided no link but what you posted was the lead into an article about Clint's next movie. My original post cited a lib article discussing the "controversial movie." It was a lib that brought it up, not me.

The real American Sniper was a hate-filled killer. Why are simplistic patriots treating him as a hero?http://www.theguardian.com/commenti...d-killer-why-patriots-calling-hero-chris-kyle Nope, no controversy here.
But are they talking about it?
Huh? Check the post, I said not one word but the voices in your head were speaking. All I did was provide a link showing that a movie that you think shouldn't be controversial is in fact, controversial. So yes, I agree with you that the movie and the soldier that it was about are controversial. As for your last statement, I wouldn't have to tell them, they would already know.Exactly. This left winger thinks Kyle was a killer. You've made my point. Did he hate the enemy? You bet. But so have most of our soldiers. Did he think they were savages? You bet. Have you seen any savages in the Middle East recently? Did he enjoy what he did? Yes, but his enjoyment was from primarily the American lives he felt that he saved through his 4 tours of duty. Yep, controversial.
Thanks for clarifying that you agree that Kyle was controversial. Spoken like a true leftist. I'd love to see a lefty like you approach someone who served with Kyle and tell them he was "controversial."

Did someone vilify a hero?
What are you doing? You basically just proved the original point with that post. The real American Sniper was a hate-filled killer. Why are simplistic patriots treating him as a hero?http://www.theguardian.com/commenti...d-killer-why-patriots-calling-hero-chris-kyle Nope, no controversy here.
Quit making stuff up and you'll do better. I asked you if someone vilified (your words) a hero, sorry if you think that I implied something but you always enhance other's responses by making up stuff that you think they think, etc. So, if you think that the author of that article was vilifying CK, then one person was according to you. CK was a soldier who was real good at what he did. You're all over the board. You questioned if anyone villified a hero, implying that no one had. You then post an article that does just that. Only libs, can label Kyle as "controversial."
A question for you. Was Kyle an American hero?
I won't summarize the whole thread for you but WVPATX couldn't understand how the movie could be controversial and I could. That about does it.What are you doing? You basically just proved the original point with that post.

Every person has an idea of what a hero is to them. Every person can make the call on CK.Quit dodging. Was Kyle an American hero?

I'm busted, you got me.So glad you love terrorists and hate americans. Im not surprised at all. #truecolors
