After last year's "Many Happy Returns" classlessness on the Rebeltron, it would funny as all get out if upon winning the Egg Bowl we wrote "From Starkville With Love: (the score of the game)" on our video board. I know we wouldn't stoop to that....but if we did I might just pee in my pants.

....and a congratulations to current season ticket holders - many happy returns for season ticket holders, get it?

What happened in Oxford was clearly a slap in the face.Whether it was or it wasn't, the rebels are going to be slapped back on Nov 28.

Flab you really think that billboard was a statement just for the msu season ticket holders? really?

i kinda thought the billboard was ingenious. good jab from the instate rival. UM just happened to return the favor in 08.</p>

wasn't it? That's kind of a slap in the face to OM fans. Don't get me wrong, I am all for "classlessness" and digs at an opponent; I just think the billboard was reactionary. This Eggbowl is shaping up to be a good one.

Will everyone stop bitching about what they did.. I was there and kinda laughed when I saw it flash up on the board after that ***-raping we had just taken to drive The idiot out of town.
We opened ourselves up to a retort when we did the state wide campaign for season tickets with that slogan. I loved it.
When they did it in retort for winning the game I thought it was well played.

I'm glad to see the marketing and AD dept coming up with new ideas and doing things like that..
and guess what unless we stay perfect on the season, someone will throw it back at us if they have a halfway creative marketing crew..and I'm fine with that.
It's a hell of a lot better than **** was under LT when we did no marketing at all.
