Way too early guess. Is DeBoer packing his bags yet?
Yeah he gone. In today's CFB age with NIL and the portal you have maybe 3 years at most to turn it around or it declares itself. Indiana and Colorado did it in one year and it looks like FSU has done it. Alabama looks much worse now than when he took over. It would not surprise me in the least bit if Ryan WIlliams enters the portal.

Unlike NU, Bama doesn't keep coaches hanging around that aren't producing at elite levels. If the Tide lose 3-4 times this year Deboer will be gone.

Not impossible to think Urban Meyer wouldn't go there for 4-5 years and get it back to Saban level. At age 61, 2-3 national titles and another $ 50 Million might be pretty enticing.

That and buying better players than anyone else. You can tell just by looking at them, they don't have gods at every position like they use to.
IMO one of the reasons Nick retired is he was losing too many recruiting battles to Georgia etal. He could see the writing on the wall with NIL. He was smart to quit instead of holding on too long.

Kalen D made a huge mistake leaving Washington. Also wrong kind of culture guy Alabama needs someone like Patton to be their HC.

Also it will be fun for Bama to be gone for a few decades. Outside of Bear Bryant and Nick Saban they have been pretty average.

He would’ve had a statue built for him had he stayed.

Oh well, maybe we can scoop him up on our next coaching search

Now Bama fans are starting the "rumors" about the coaches and players.

New fun one is that the DC is busy scoping out sorority girls.

Sound familiar???

On Get Up this morning. Even that little weasel Bama sucker Finebaum agrees. Bama doesn't have A@M oil and gas money. He doesn't think Bama can afford a 70-million-dollar buyout.
I am sure they COULD if they really wanted to but in the end, fire him to hire who?

Clearly they are going to do what all blue bloods do and say "Urban Meyer, back up the truck" or "Dabo, he is an alum" or "Would Richt leave UGA?"

Their problem, I don't think is their coach, it is NIL. They were cheating at a level that no one had seen since SMU, now everyone can buy players.

I think you could see them go after an NFL guy would be amazing, that would ruin them.
