If the Big is at the bottom of OU list why did they ask in? IMO they end up in the BIG along with another Big XII team.

I don't believe they did. I think you're making this up or some drunk guy at the end of the bar is making it up.
So 4 teams, and 2 of them being NC State and Hoston. Sweet. I stand by what I said.
I believe if OU wanted to join, they would have. That article specifically did not mention they attempted to join, or asked to join, or were turned down, etc. It said they "explored". If they picked up the phone and called the SEC to inquire or explore, does that mean then they attempted to join it?
If I'm wrong, and there is anywhere in that article that said they wanted to join or attempted to join then show me and I'll admit I'm wrong. What I read is a lot of innuendo on a 5 year old rumor about an exploratory phone call by somebody, and who even knows who made it, and have you ever heard of generating leverage? Coaches do it all the time by floating their name for an opening, that they never intended to follow through with. Having said all that, I freely admit I am stupid, it's possible I could be wrong on it, so show me where I'm wrong.
