Spot on. Oats will never win a title. His style is flashy and outstanding when they are hitting. When they face a great defensive team. They go home in March.
I don't know who should be the next Kentucky coach. But if fans wanna see Kentucky back to winning titles. Then Nate Oats isn't the guy.
If they want really good regular seasons. With some huge blowout wins mixed in with a few head scratching blowout losses to mediocre teams. Then Oats is the guy for that.
