The issue is calling out the switch and making it on defense. If you can master that, then you take away open 3-point shots with Oates.

It doesn’t matter if Holloway is guarded or open, the dude is unconscious today. Nobody can or could stop him today, just like Jodie Meeks against Tennessee that game. The thing is Mallete and Allen are hitting too, nobody would be ahead or tied with them today. We are also weak on defense, but they are shooting as good or better than they ever have today.
It's almost like we still want the coach that we wanted almost two years ago.

Alabama‘s paid players are giving Max effort.
And yes, effort is the main thing here. This teams identity is playing hard defense, giving max effort, rebounding, etc. This is not a good offensive team

That is puzzling. Some kids match up better with some teams but not others. What we are doing obviously isn't working today, I would be down with more Kam and JJ

Defense is a "i want to" talent. You can't teach a kid defense if he does not buy in. Pope needs to put the fear od the bench in our guys. Such soft coaching that the players become soft.
Pope is crunching the analytics to see if he can play.
I think the lineup to finish this game should be: Quaintance, Dioubate, Williams, Oweh and Lowe. Not going to win, but keeps it closer. Chandler has no business on the floor.
