I just don't understand Pope's mindset. Leave your best players on the bench. And unfortunately your best players are not good enough. All the elite teams have THE guy and Pope can't seem to get one to Lexington. This ain't BYU and even BYU has THE guy. They are better off with their new coach.
Given how unproductive guards other than Lowe and Oweh have been, it's probably getting to about time we start experimenting with more lineups with bigger players at the 3. In a game like this one, maybe Alabama kills us from deep, but we can shore up the defensive glass and paint defense to mitigate damage from sublime shooting.
Our guys don't make cuts. They make jogs. Cut with desperation like Jamal Murray did.
He’s probably not tryna understand much right now. Kentucky basketball is as bad as it’s been in my life. We look terrible. Any team that’s been decent has blown us out.
It has nothing to do with being paid though. Zero. I got the point but the “pay” aspect is irrelevant. It’s only effort and nothing else. It boils down to a lack of accountability and expectation from the coaching staff. It’s quite discouraging.

Gotta love Johnson’s progress this year in passing. Next development step for him is to learn how to pass to your team rather then the other team.
Pope is an idiot. Having Garrison and Moreno in this game at the same time should get you fired immediately.

Love seeing Nate Oats going crazy and our coach looking dumbfounded and nonchalant. Positive vibes only though...
