So why does Pope pull Jasper for one shot and not BG?

I mean, Jasper has a scorer mentality and for him to get into the game he has to score. I think that's why he tries to score immediately when he gets in so he can get himself going mentally. But being pulled for one shot that wasn't half bad can ruin that offensive flow. Yet BG gets pulled after 3+ mistakes.

Yes Jasper needs a lot of work but let him create.

He needs to play with Moreno. I don't know what Pope is doing with that.

Day what you will, Cals teams at least had the talent to be in any game. Even his final team was still more enjoyable than what ive seen from this team so far.

This is like watching a mid-major that you're just hoping can hold onto a lead. I have to believe Wilson and UNC will pull this out because we just can't shoot and we lack the overall talent.

Because he’s the point guard and he didn’t try to pass or think about passing or consider passing even one single time before he went to get his. That’s why. Not because he took a bad shot, but because he went out of his way to force one.

Was never a great shooter, but cut his hair and stoped being a scorer. Still has some defensive chops though. Truly I think not having complimentary deadly 3 threats and not having Amari running point/center (now we know how good he was there) has exposed his game. A good team player, but not an isolated star!
