It's Pope's fault for not managing that. Messing up rotations. Not calling time out when UNC goes on a run. But on the other side of the coin our players BB IQ is super low. I have no idea what Pope teaches them. For a guy from Pitino's couching tree, it's a sad display.
I dont think this is the sort of coaching hire you stick around with, though. This isnt Cal. Pope has shown he is wildly in over his head, so much so that I think last year was really just great players.

I can even blame Denzel. Pope is the coach, tell him that he wants 5 assist before the end the game or his *** is grass.

Went something like 12-13 mins w/o a FG. I’d love to know how many time Oweh got the ball in space or with a ball screen to get downhill. He actually seemed successful doing that tonight, unlike all of this season…and then just nothing. So odd.
