Who in that war room was a great general or tactician? Jon Snow has made tactical errors in every battle he’s been in, he’s not a tactician. Arya, Sansa, Danny and sam are useless. Jaime was a great fighter but not as a general, Brianne might have been the best at it and yet she never led an army.

Robb Stark was dead, Ned too. I don’t see why anyone would expect anything but errors considering who was left to make the decisions. I also don’t think anyone have the command for the Dothraki to charge in, they whooped themselves into a frenzy and took off.

Actual history is riddled w tactical errors by military leaders.

I haven’t read the books, but in the show the Dothraki were damn near invincible on the battlefield.
Also, a witch had just lit their swords on fire by saying some words.

Onto this week... I don't think Danny has been the same since Jon told her who he was. Will they part ways?

I don't see the battle for KL going down without a buffer episode first to set it all up. I'm really missing Bronn too, surely he makes an appearance tonight.

I'd like to see Bran do a little tell all conference and actually help them going forward.

Pretty accurate, did you read spoilers somewhere?

Oh snap. That was a good episode. Didn't take long for everyone to start looking out for themselves now that the lives of men are saved.

They had no idea how many were out there. It’s a TV show, it made a good visual.
Jon told Daenerys there were about 100,000 and announced it at the KL meeting. The freefolk saw them at the wall before going to winterfell. They knew the whole dead army was coming as they planned in the winterfell war room on the strategy board. Nowhere at any time was there a suggestion that they thought anything but the entire dead army was going to be there. What scene or episode did you see to suggest they didn’t know what would be out there?

The Dothraki didn’t speak the language, nor do I think they were big believers in counting.

It is a television show, the Dothraki, whom had been invincible up to that point, charging into the darkness with lit swords to quickly disappear was made to add drama.

You can’t salvage this but it’s your choice. Jora and Daenerys could both speak the Dothraki language, I’m sure they were informed of the dead being at 100k, Jora was even their commander. I’ve pointed to several scenes alluding to the number of dead. You’ve provided it’s a show and it was dark.

Yes, I know there was **** ton of dead. The point was the Dothraki could not see them, were warriors used to kicking ***, a witch just lit their swords on fire, and most importantly it wasn’t REAL.
It was added for visual and dramatic effect, and it worked. Enjoy the entertainment, it will be over in a couple of weeks.

Why are you on here telling anybody it’s not REAL, of course it’s show and I think everybody knows that. We also know it was dark and their swords were lit, I don’t disagree that a witch did it. Maybe you’re now trying to say the Dothraki would have kicked *** but it was too dark to see, never mind they were grossly outnumbered and knew it and would have lost in broad daylight. Clearly the Dothraki were overconfident and obviously overrated.

I'm officially pissed @ Cersi, she could have killed anyone but Missandei. Such a beautiful girl, I hope Danny goes all mad queen and burns the entire city down.

Well, maybe Dany could've flown around, but she couldn't be sure there wasn't another trap waiting for her. Had to regroup after that shocker.

Now, if you want to talk about stuff that should've happened... Cersei should've had arrows raining down on Dany and her crew at the end. Like she would care about diplomatic procedures at this point? Nah!

I simply made a statement as to why the Dothraki May have charged. For some reason you started breaking it down into technicalities. I said it was a show because you are taking it entirely to seriously.

Basically at the point it’s not if but when Jon dies. No dire wolf or dragon make Jon a dead man. Sucks

Maybe. But I think its more Dany than Jon who has the highest chance to die. I also think the chance that he kills her has increased.

You did a poor job of explaining yourself and came off as somebody in disbelief that their beloved Dothraki could lose a battle and if only it hadn’t been dark. Go back and read your posts, what you were saying is nothing like what you’re portraying now. Honestly I think you’ve changed your point a couple of times and are clearly the one taking it too seriously. I used facts (aka technicalities), you repeatedly said it was dark and language. I’m not buying your reason for why they charged in, we just disagree on this topic.
