You can tell who in these last two pages are just mad things didnt go how they wanted. Reminds me of Lost and how people completely flipped out on the show every time a favorite character died or did something to damage another character
The show was always going to go down this route... it’s always been about characters doing both bad and good things.... GRRM said so from the beginning. The white walkers were never the main story and If you hoped so then you tricked your own self.
This season has been awesome and if you let 2 or 3 minor grievances turn you off from the show then that stupidity is on you.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Had a great conversation last night on a conference call with Benioff and Weiss congratulating them on their success with this show and for their future work on Star Wars. They are going to be great for that universe. Disney and all Star Wars die hards should be very excited.
You see, they now know what I've known for a long time. What is "good" writing? Well, I'll tell you what it is.
It's a yacht off the coast of Fiji filled with the finest whores and cocaine. It's a penthouse in Manhattan with a crystal spiral staircase leading to a rooftop infinity pool filled with more whores. It's a shelf full of Emmys for Big Bang Theory and Two and Half Men, sitting right next to a nice big mound of nose candy. People often forget that I even wrote the theme song to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What?
Anyway, my point is, and I told them this last night...who cares if people hate it? Who cares if people find endless inconsistencies in the plot progression? If people are disappointed in a character's evolution that seems to have been reverted at the last second for nothing? Who cares if Tyrion, who was crafted to be one of the smartest men in Westeros for the first 90% of the story, was turned into a mouth breathing idiot for the end like it never happened? Who cares if people think Varys committing suicide by idiocy after decades of survival through multiple regimes doesn't fit at all? Who cares if Jaime has a real hand while hugging Cersei in the scene where they die?
They don't and shouldn't. They now have boatwhores....and that is what truly matters.
There has never been a perfect show or movie , Get over it
False. Big Bang Theory.
