I think the war with the WW will be episode 3. But that doesn’t mean it’s over after that episode. If Winterfell falls and Jon/others lose, they will probably retreat and there will be another battle with the WW, Cersei, and the what’s left of Jons team.
That’s what I’m hoping for. I don’t want the war with the WW’s to end until the last episode.

Cersei’s plans usually blow up in her face, she’s the Wiley coyote of GOT. Whatever she’s planning now will inevitably trigger events that will cost her later, she’s doomed to be the one who thinks she’s clever but never considers long term repercussions.

Cersei will go down the path becoming the "mad queen". She will attempt to burn down the city when the enemy is at the gates the same way the mad king was going to before Jamie slayed him. As the king slayer, Jamie will be the one to kill his sister the mad queen. It will be his final redemption. What happens to him afterwards I dunno. Jmo.

I think I agree with a theory I read that Arya will kill Cersei wearing the face of Jamie. The trailer that's been shown with her running scared with scratches on her face are probably the aftermath of this and she's running from the Mountain which will then lead to the Hound coming to her aid and setting up that showdown.

It was like two different weapons in one. It was a spear like weapon that also had a bow or something to shoot the head of the spear. I’m guessing it’ll be made of dragonglass or valerian steel. I just think they were foreshadowing her being the one to strike the death blow to the Night King.

I thought it was something to kill the dragon. But who knows

I can’t decide if the gold company will stay in kings landing to fight whoever wins up north or if Cersei will have them attack the north while they’re fighting the WW.

Have you all seen some of the interviews with the cast talking about shooting the White Walker battle at Winterfell? It took 55 nights to film in extremely cold wet weather.

I can't imagine the battle is even in the next episode. Surely it's a big cliffhanger as they look over the walls of Winterfell and see them coming. Then the next episode is all killing.

I'd say episode two is all dealing with Jamie, getting angry at one another, Jon introspectively brooding, Hot Pie serving up some dinner, Arya and Gendry kissing, and then seeing the army of the dead walking their way.

I read somewhere that it would probably be 3 and/or 4. And I think you’re right about the WW arriving and then the episode ending with a cliff hanger. I am already dreading the 1 week wait time that will follow.

her running looks to certainly be in the crypts of winterfell.

It's been a while since the last time I watched the season with the Faceless Men, but is there any chance there's someone out there that isn't very please with Arya that might show up?

New theory is that Cersei and the night king bone each other. Their demon spawn ends up as bran in the past. Then Jamie bones Brienne and their spawn ends up as Diana taurasi.

dany refuses to accept that she is not the ruler of the iron throne, accuses Jon of blasphemy and sends the dragons for Jon. dany is killed by the dragons because she refuses to accept Jon as the king.
cersei is no military strategist; she thinks the WW are no big deal. she sends the army to attack the other armies from the south. remember, she said she would deal with whats left...

I think having the dragons recognize Aegon 6th of his name as the true king would be a hell of a concept. It contradicts the mother of dragons idea, so it probably wouldn’t be considered.

I don’t think the dragons turn on Dany, but I do believe that she tries to execute John for treason and having “blood of the dragon”, he won’t burn.

Arya is running from someone that was turned and she doesn’t want to kill them, it leaves her in conflict and so she hides in the hope that there may be a way to bring them back. Look at uncle benjen, there is a way.

That would be cool but are all Targaryen fire proof?

I think Dany turns on Jon. The Dragons are the one thing she has that no one can match, Jon is a threat to that.
The dragons are the root of all her power, since she lost one already I don’t think she’ll be willing to put the other 2 anywhere near the Night King.

Lots of fan service tonight, maybe even more than last week. Which tells me that a lot of those people will be dead by the end of next weeks show.

Almost no deceit or betrayal, it’s too late in the game for those to run a course. Nope, we’re in reminiscing and bow tying stage. It’s strictly about who survives and what their title will be.

The next 4 episodes are going to be wide open in order for them to finish every story line.
