It got a little stressful but Rutgers scores when then need to.
3-0 this year feels better than last year. IF we can get more consistency in passing game we may surprise a couple of teams this year.

Well that was after he beat a ranked team that went to the national championship game last year.
I wish we played Michigan State next week instead of Michigan. But who knows maybe RU will get lucky. They may as well turn the offense loose and pass more, not much to lose.
Army took a good Miochigan team to OT a few years ago.

The repeated body blow, protect the ball football worked out like a charm in the 4th quarter today. That 55 yard TD broke their backs, too.
We need a second WR to step up vertically. VT played us exactly how I would have and they took our passing game away.
The difference between us last year and now is we ran the ball against a stacked box and used formations to create good cut back lanes.

I was just looking at the defensive stats and feel a little better. We had 4 sacks which is more than I thought. Also - not too many QBs are going to run it themselves 22 times. Drones was willing to take hit after hit to avoid the pass game becoming one dimensional.
Do what's needed to win is something we all can understand.

Purdue beat them by 7 , we beat them by 19, no turnovers, Flip flipped the field, the Oline with some injuries stepped up in 4th quarter an d played with no penalties.
The refs gave us at least 3 bad spots on what would have been 1st downs. We have worn down 3 straight opponents by the 4th quarter.
Overall much more enjoyable than last year.

Come on man. That’s harsh. Everyone loves their kids but I’m perfectly comfortable admitting that my daughter’s kindergarten rec soccer isn’t particularly exciting. I’m one of the coaches too!
It’s the nature of the sport / age and I don’t think that makes me selfish to admit it. At that age it’s all about social interaction. Every girl on our team had kicked off the shin guards and several handed their parents the cleats about 30 min into our first 50 min game.
We really enjoyed yesterday’s game and the boardwalk too.
