The whole team needs to get a talk at halftime. Not that they did anything wrong. But the two teams are trying to out tough each other, so the team that can do that AND keep their composure might be the difference, if the game remains close.
Keeo it close??? They can absolutely win this.
Offensively had some great possessions that got us open shots and play to the rim that lead to fouls.
I totally agree but he still needs to be careful.
Harper is playing D - it may not show up in the stats, but it's certainly needed. Keep it up!!
Don’t think Houston is used to anyone matching their intensity on D. Love that this game is turning into a brawl
I'll give mathis credit.. he's playing well today. Still loses control of his body sometimes but he hitting shots
We don't turn it over so much we can have a bigger lead but just stay home on defense no reason to double
He's also a freshman. The younger players especially struggle with that in the tournament.

ZERO fouls on Myles. Only 1 on Cliff and 1 on Ron. Very good since we still need to be aggressive on the glass and in the paint.
Better than that as this team is so much better than MSU

The conference differential is evident imo. Let's beat this team. They came out hard but they are flustered a bit by how much better we are than they thought and are used to.
Loved cliffs intensity. Love the whole teams intensity. We need to keep this up.
Agreed. Crazy to say but this is the first time I can remember saying that we look like the deeper team. Every man who touched the floor in that half stepped up.

Agreed. The negative comments are nothing more than nervous venting and people being emotional fans. At least that’s my excuse. In any event, if you don’t want to read them get the F off the Board.
Not new we just seem to have the fairest of fair weather fans from minute to minute. I am sure every team has it but the same people do it every game and never learn.
Stop turning it over ....and keep floor spacing and we score enough to advance to the sweet 16!

Nah to your nah. If I am Houston’s coach, I point out that they might want to try to get into the RU freshman big’s head, get a T or get him ejected, now that he showed some anger.
Pike needs to let the team know that winning is the productve way to show toughness. Not getting into a situation that gives the refs a chance to dictate the outcome with T’s or ejections.
The only way to respond to ****-talk or arrogance or anything else in Houston might try is to win.
