what are you talking about. Pikiell coached his best game of the year.

Geo couldn’t do a think right the last 4 minutes. Grimes missed two fouls and the ball went right through his hands to grimes for a score. We couldn’t get a rebound for the life of us in last to 4 minutes.
PIKE LOST THE GAME. FACTS!!

You guys blaming the refs need serious help. Like completely deranged.

We were up by 8 points with around 5 minutes to go. We proceeded to...

Missed Dunk- 3 pointer Houston
Gave up offensive rebound- 3 pointer Houston
Missed bunny layup
Gave up offensive rebound- 3 pointer Houston
Gave up offensive rebound- 3 point play Houston
Rutgers Turnover

Literally zero to do with the refs. Zero. Stop looking for excuses. They ******* choked.

Listen, the players deserve tremendous credit for a gritty and determined effort. They made us proud. Unfortunately, Pikell played not to lose rather than to win. He played to hold on, rather than grabbing the other team by the throat. He coached scared at the end. That’s why our season ended when it shouldn’t have. He choked, not the players.

Houston got what is seemed like an offensive rebound on the final 10 possessions of the game..... you want pikiell to suit up?

couldn’t get a ******* rebound.

I don’t think you can blame Pike. The team turtled. Absolutely crumbled.

Playing Syracuse in the Sweet 16 would have been just too awesome. So close

syracuse would have beaten us. We escaped last time after Boehim drastically outcoached pike. This Houston team however is vastly overrated

Had that feeling after the missed alley oop that RU was going to lose the game ... unfortunate I was right .. still RU got a tourney win and played a #2 seed down to the wire ... maybe this helps get players to decide to stick around one more year.

On the one hand, why do we ALWAYS have to be Rutgers. For real, this has to end at one point right?

On the other hand, the fact that we’re even watching basketball in March, and taking a 2-seed in the tournament to the wire, is incredible.

Have to feel for the players. Pike has to be asked what the f*** he was thinking

he’s been coaching not to lose all year with the lead and running the shot clock down just to hoist up a prayer. He only has one play and it finally bit us in the ***
The only reason I can think of running those plays is to ensure we at least get a shot off instead of turning it over.... but that's still a terrible reason to run it again and again.

This wasn't on our team. We got no fouls. We shot zero free throws in the second half

we went away from our game plan the final 3 minutes. Bad ball movement, playing scared. Throwing the ball outside when we're driving, can't get a foul. McConnell with a hideous 3, and the Ron has to force one to tie. Just ugly. Them with5 fouls is the biggest load of **** I've ever seen. Especially when geo is fouled at the end down 1

What facts are you referring to?

Are you serious. We tried to run out the clock up one (or two possession) in the final 2 minutes. That’s like kneeling in the 3rd qtr of football

He is not an offensive coach, which is fine, but he pulled the entire team down with him because he got scared

It’s easy to say that, But specifically what would you have liked Pike to do? What would you have done differently?
Not take the air out of the ball and just go to one on one with 3 minutes left in the game and give JY the ball and not Geo as two things

That and not driving on the player with the hip pointer was the ball game

Thanks to the team for an exciting year. Heartbreak loss. No one person to blame Actually the only real point Haywood made is we went to a stall game too early! Would have been nice to play The Cuse
