The Mark Pope era is off to a flying start! Great first game of the year. Loved our style of play, very fast and loose, played well in transition, efficient shooting, just an all around fun game to watch and much needed breath of fresh air.

I have no complaints, they are playing just the way Pope wants them to play, loose and having fun. Each player was playing to their strengths and their defense looked pretty good too.

I think this team is more worried about what us fans and coach think. More than anyone else. Some of these players have never thought for one second they would ever be playing for the university of kentucky men's basketball program. Including Noah. So Pope has drilled that into their heads, work hard and play hard. This is Kentucky. Very infectious going forward. Never leave any door open, your here to win championships.

He has work to do for sure but he's just a sophomore and to me looks better than any big Cal brought in his last few years. I think he has tons of potential. He just needs to let the game come to him a little more.

Yes I am! Still a bit cautious. The last decade has taught me not to get my hopes up but I’m loving what I’ve seen. If they can play this style against Duke, as long as they have a chance to win, then I’ll throw caution to the wind.

Which is funny because he even looks like Brooks lol.

He was such a late pickup and most here never even give him a second thought but he could play a big role on this team. I just wish we had more than 1 year with him.

We had our only unanimous NPOY, who was a big man, 3 seasons ago and he was just on the team 2 years ago.
