Well we get 3 off their gift. Btw how big is the halo for PR. I know 99 backed off but was wondering if he kind of went in and out of that halo

I’m done with Gavin. Too inconsistent.
I almost want Evan Simon to play a game again just to remind you guys why Gavin is starting. Lol I remember people were like this last year until Simon stated and threw multiple interceptions. Gw isnt Montana but he adds a rushing element and he has a cannon for an arm. Him being 19 you go through the growing pains while hopefully winning enough games for a bowl...you guys have to be trolling with these takes.. Rutgers hasn't been this good at QB in a decade lol

Guy behind Dremel back of ez wide open.
That’s what a quarterback that’s been in the system for three years should know. You have two receivers as soon as you look to the short guy, all three defenders come towards him, which creates such an easy pass to the guy that’s left open. The fact that it doesn’t even cross his mind is the part that bothers me.

Unacceptable not throwing a pass into the end zone with 3 seconds remaining in the first half.Passing attack stinks which means Indiana probably will put 8 players near the line of scrimmage daring Rutgers to pass in the second half.

If Schiano is too afraid to throw against Indiana, what hope is there the rest of the season?
Have you seen Gavin throwing the ball today? We are all seeing exactly why we’re so damn conservative in the passing game. I don’t like it either, but GW is sailing almost every pass.

How’d he do getting that running first down?

Probably down 14-7 if not for our special teams, but they all count; yards even at 143. GW just 4-9 for 31, although there were 2 bad drops in there; he does have 49 yards rushing though, just behind KM's 53. Defense needs to play better and Gavin needs to throw better...

1000%

There is very little thinking going on. The one run he pulled down is the only exception. And it worked!

Do people not understand that you run guys short of the goal line to pull the defenders up? If Gavin pumps to the flat the corner route was wide open. This isn’t a play-calling issue. We have guys wide open all over the field.

I’m sorry, but have you ever seen three more poorly throwing passes than that sequence by Gavin. I don’t think I have how many high school kids would miss those passes that badly?

Trying to look at the bright side with Gavin. Dodging a bullet with no turnovers while his passing game can’t possibly be worse.

But isn't this on the HC for just refusing to bring in better competition for the position? Who else does this? GS has hitched his entire wagon to Gavin developing into a proficient QB. I would have to think GW's progression might be faster with more competition in the room. When he throw a good ball it is tantalizing but there are so many bad throw but with regard to accuracy and touch that it is hard to watch.
