See here we are again close to a score and it was off a sudden change like I said it would likely be.

Taking points in a close game isn’t a bad thing.

Some coaches like Lanning need to learn that

And we could be tied 7-7 about to go up 14-7 if we even tried last series.

Shotty last 2 plays

Just kick the fg because they are not getting the td on 4th

I'm taking 7-6 with defense playing well, getting the ball first next half and QB throwing terrible balls today

If we ever had a killer instict on offense we would be top 20

That said today is exceeding any expectations

I wanted to spread everything out,
Give KM some room to run & drive in.

But FG to be down 1, is understandable

I like taking the 3 points there, but it’s also frustrating. We were imposing our will with the run game until we got inside the 5. Then it stalls.

You can still attempt to get a TD and end up kicking a FG.

We haven't called one play to even attempt to score a TD.

They should have run the same play with JL in motion to center.... GW keep it and run it against the grain of JL in motion and it would have been a TD. LB would have collapsed to line like previous play and walk in TD

Or we could be at 0, we are who we are. It’s not like we’re a productive offense and their offense isn’t as productive as last year. Make them work to get a big gap on us.

It’s not a hard and fast rule. It’s play by ear and the way this game is and their style of play this year makes these kinds of decisions more prudent ones.

If we had to keep up in a track meet then yes I might say go for it but thats not who OSU is this year.

6 plays in the red zone.
1 pass out the back of the endzone
1 pass at the LOS
4 runs up the middle

6 points
"Offense we need to win"

You do realize our 4 star qB is having trouble throwing the ball. And at the same time our OL is having success against OSU.

Yeah that ptevious series was pretty bad..we acted like we didnt just have a huge play and decided to settle for 3 immediately

For the first time this year, I don’t see an argument for a coaching decision - don’t think we should’ve gone for the 3 there. Our D has done okay, but OSU had a drop or two on what would’ve been big plays for them. Those drops won‘t continue.

We need points to saty in the game.
