Not totally true. With Teel, Underwood, Britt, Brown, there were times they could almost score at will.
The real issue is that Wimsatt just is not accurate. He is just too inconsistent so that the offense is one-dimensional. Maybe early enrollment and competition by Surace going into spring changes things for Wimsatt next year.
Britt had 2 true RZ TD receptions in career
Midfield going up the sideline he was a monster.
Underwood used to hear footsteps and dropped a bunch of end zone receptions vs WV in 07.
Rice was the only threat and even he couldn't keep Ito from RZ FGs
2007:
"The individual offensive numbers look like something from a video game. Rutgers will likely finish this season with two 1,000-yard receivers for the first time in school history, with a 3,000-yard passer and, most likely, with a 1,600-yard rusher. Yet there were the Knights, settling for five field goal tries in six red zone trips against Connecticut on Saturday (making four) while managing just one touchdown. The total offense wound up as 511 yards that game. The number of offensive touchdowns in the 38-19 loss? One. "It's not all about stats. It's about being efficient," said quarterback Mike Teel, who gave his sore right thumb a rest while working on a limited basis at practice yesterday. "We had 500 yards of offense and we scored one touchdown."
