That's fine. It doesn't change the fact that those 2 guys aren't healthy and the team changes fairly dramatically with them both healthy and playing.
Well, one thing is for sure. If Pope is ever fired there are plenty of fine coaching candidates on this board. I'm not one of them but I know there are lots here that could do a better job. LOL

This is so embarrassing, Kentucky should NEVER be in this position. There are some problems in our program and it looks like it might last awhile before it gets better.
Just an all systems failure. This second half may be the most important one of the season even if coming all the way back is unlikely.

He played against UL and I didnt see much of a dramatic change. Dude is a sive on defense.

I will. I won’t keep accepting this crap Mitch keeps feeding us. It the boosters didn’t hire Calipari, Barnhart’s tenure as the AD of Kentucky basketball would’ve turned us into Indiana.

I was fine with him coming back to be option 2 or 3 on the team, but we paid him to be the star and he was never deserving of that and is proving himself incapable or not interested in the role.
It hurts lour whole offense, not having a center who can hit a shot from 6 to 8 feet away either using the backboard or not. BG is totally useless, and Moreno can only hit dunks. Our whole offense is throwing up desperation closely guarded threes.
That last shot was their only bs shot. Their other shots have all been wide open. When they go inside, we cant guard that either. When they do miss, we cant rebound.

If theres any bit of truth to this, we are cooked up til hes gone. Imagine 2025 and were trying to do things like were still in the 50s. I swear sometimes I think Kentucky basketball im general just trys to take the most difficult path if it means we get to say we did it "the Kentucky way". This program needs to wake up or there wont be much to root for in a few years.
Don’t worry, Mitch Barnhart will keep Pope too long and we’ll end up losing a good coach to another school who would’ve come here had we started a new coaching search earlier.
