Martinsburg vs anyone in Virginia besides Sherando . Sherando can rarely beat them. They have a very good feeder program. Martinsburg should be pretty darn good this year. Probably not the best team they have had , but will put it on most 4A Virginia teams . I think Salem will be fine though , a good power run team can grind it out against Martinsburg sometimes . If you start throwing it around and think you are going to outscore them , most likely a Salem loss. Maybe Salem can control the clock and come out with a win.

I haven't seen a schedule, but I believe it is 10/18. I heard it was Week 8, and checking MaxPreps for Martinsburg's schedule that date is not taken, while 10/11 & 10/25 are.
Will a new head coach at Salem change the offense and put Salem in learning mode year one? Or is going to continue with the same offense and disciple of mags?
With the success Salem has had, Coach Holter will likely not change the offense imho. Coach Pitts, the OC, has done a great job since coming over from Cave Spring.
A good coach would not change it. Amherst knows very well what happened with that
