Garrett Greene is our STARTING QB!

They were .500 in regular season and went to a bowl game vs a team with more talent and experience. Could Greene have won those final 2 games to get them to a 2nd straight bowl? Greene biggest asset is his legs, heart and determination. He doesn't wear concrete shoes. I believe JTD gave up and it reflected in his game play and the team noticed and followed with the same lack of interest.

It doesn't have to be an RPO QB to win. You just have to have the ability to get outside the pocket to avoid a sack.

I'm not advocating that Greene should've played last season. I am advocating that Crowder, who has been given zero chance to play meaningful minutes should've been assessed last year rather than wasting time with Doege. I'd much rather of had a 5-7 season where we get a good assessment of the future QB situation rather than 6 win season and toilet bowl for a known barely .500 QB in Doege. I feel the same about the rest of this season and JT.

Or 6 losses for kid who is use to winning and winning national titles. Who says JT was better first part of season? We were still choking on our own **** and losing.

People talking about Greene like he's the next Pat White have forgotten the 4th quarter on the game tying drive on 4 and 16 the personal foul flag picked up by the officials on James dirty dumb hit on a player kneeling in the end zone after the play. That would have added 15 yards to the 4th down and probably looking at a punt instead of 4th and 11.

Oklahoma also missed a FG in 4th quarter that would have given them a 23-20 lead.

It's your opinion that players don't like Brown. You have no idea. But as far as being a coach in P5 at WVU it is not a good fit.

Neal Brown doesn't call the plays. The other Air Raid guy does. How many titles has an Air Raid offense won in P5 level?

I have only seen people compare their styles of play. I have not seen a single WVU fan tout Greene like he is literally the next Pat White. It is just your emotional reaction to twist their words into them saying he's the next Pat White. Ive seen fans explain themselves even to you, that its the similar styles, not that Greene is as good as White, but you still dont get it. You cant blame that on anyone but yourself.

I never said players dont like him, I just said there is something the players dont like about him, as evidenced by basically everything going on with the program right now. Maybe its his coaching style? Maybe its his system. A player can like him as a person, but not believe in him as a coach. You do realize those things are possible at the same time dont you?

Because they are not going to pay an OC 900,000 to sit on his *** and smile. Besides it has been well documented Harrell will call 100% of the plays. It was also noted that Harrell allowed Daniels to change said plays if he saw something on the defense.

Those stats could be because teams have enough tape of JT and Graham Harrell offense to figure out what WVU can and can't do. Same could happen with Greene and possibly in less time given Greene's height and arm limit his throws.

Season is already a horrible mistake. I say start Greene. Win, start him game #12. If we lose, start Crowder or Nico game #12. Use it as a bowl game for next year.

he was in BWs 2 nights ago and said a started hadn't been named yet. True question posed to him and the RB at the table with him.

If he doesn't start KSU's conference sack leader gets more sacks. Green's mobility will help.

also, and oddly, JT is only 500 yards behind the conference leading in pass yards. I was surprised he was that close to the leader (Dekkers ISU).

I agree, if we lose this one, use the last game as a game for all new players to play, to whatever degree.
