Brown certainly deserves the bulk of the blame, rightfully so. That said, I can't help but question GG's ability to play QB. Yes, their D is very tough, however he missed a few open WR's in that game and never looked comfortable in the pocket.

The end of the half killed us, no doubt about it.

You should definitely question GG's ability to play QB. I'm not sure where this sudden hype for him came from during the pre season. The kid showed guts last year and made a few good things happen with his legs. That being said, he has always been inaccurate and not able to read progressions smoothly. I again liken him to Skylar Howard in that he plays hard and likely is the best we got, but he has significant limitations when it comes to passing. This is not a knock on this kid, it is just a physical reality that he will never be able to get the ball out there like Grier or Geno nor will he be able to overcome those failings with his legs like Pat White. Of course, the coaching does hinder him as both RR and Holgorsen could make more with less when it came to offensive production and this coaching staff has shown no such ability.
