The only concern for the reschedule that anyone cared about is what was best for the teams first, and in-person attendance second. Nothing else mattered.

Gator Bowl has an prime time exclusivity clause in the agreement for ESPN. No other games at the same time. They moved the Gator Bowl start time to 30 minutes later.

Sugar Bowl also has an exclusivity clause in the agreement. No other games at the same time.

The right thing to do, and what viewers wanted, would be to put the Sugar Bowl at 7:30pm Central tonight and move the Gator Bowl up to 4pm Central. Why do you think that did not happen? Sugar Bowl is by far the more interesting game for everyone nationwide.
