The state has ordered every police department and sheriffs office in the state not to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement, even if they have committed grievous crimes. Illegals are given free welfare, healthcare and every other conceivable state benefit. They are made immune in every way. He has some good points (smart, politically savvy), but I still voted to recall him as I watched him waffle on campaign promises he’d made. Plus, his bias in his appointees to agencies like the Ca Energy Commission and deals with PG&E that the other IOU’s were then forced to abide by, left me with a lot of distrust.
I’ve had enough interactions with his office to know that he sees himself as the “moderate” that the Dems need to lead the party. He actually campaigned on being more moderate years ago, but like a chameleon, he changed relative to the environment he was working in. In any case, Jeffries, that twit AOC, the Commie, and the “We should have retired 10 years ago” Gang doesn’t provide any real option for Mod Dems, so I’d expect them to coalesce around (spell it correctly with me now…
