So you ignore the bad? Some of you are unbelievable.1 TD, zero int's, in the 2nd half.
plus the 2 pt conversion throw.

13/28 with 2 ints is good???
So you are saying that one TD is better then two interceptions??? Talk about knowing nothing about football! You ignored his TD.
You keep just repeating the same stat that has been debunked numerous times. How did I ignore tge 2 INT’s the figured into my response. You just have a bad habit of not caring about anything but what you think. The 2 INT were not both on him. The 3 drops were not on him.He did not have a pretty good game. He put the team in a huge hole, the defense, special teams and Monangai won the game. I watched the game! It was his worse game of the year. You are ignoring the biggest stat. 2 interceptions.
Who said that?So you are saying that one TD is better then two interceptions??? Talk about knowing nothing about football!
The first pick was clearly on Strong. Went right through his hands. Was a good pass and would have been a nice long first down. Second pick, he just overthrew it. He also made some very impressive throws. So you are saying that one TD is better then two interceptions??? Talk about knowing nothing about football!
The first pick wasn’t Gavin’s fault. Ball was well placed. Strong just missed it. The second pick was affirmation of why we only throw up the middle on designed plays. Gavin’s just not ready to make those reads yet. It’s great that Washington nailed down the TD, but not seeing a wide open target on a much easier throw points to the same issue. He’s not there yet, but so many other aspects of his game are vastly improved. Gavin protects the ball, avoids sacks, knows when to throw the ball away and can be relied on to do so without intentional grounding. He led a very nice drive in the second half when it mattered most and converted an important 2 point conversion. That was a big deal.So you are saying that one TD is better then two interceptions??? Talk about knowing nothing about football!
Considering that last year was probably a D or D-, I'll take that level of improvement with still 2.5 years of eligibility left.As a power conference qb grade Gavin earns a “C.”
I have said all along he has improved from last year but anyone saying he was good last Saturday is a complete idiot! If people don't see a big improvement in GW this year they just don't want to see the truth. GW stands tall in the pocket and looks like a B1G 10 QB this year and I anticipate that he's only going to get better.
It's just so sad that with the improvement that this team is showing this year and being so very close to a bowl people still want to dwell on their perceived negative beliefs. They can't just enjoy what is happening. That's sad.
Fair enough.Considering that last year was probably a D or D-, I'll take that level of improvement with still 2.5 years of eligibility left.
Wasn't his best game but would you agree that he was as good as he needed to be? The two plays that he had to execute (the Washington TD and the 2 pointer to Dremel) he did.I have said all along he has improved from last year but anyone saying he was good last Saturday is a complete idiot!
I think you have to agree throwing too high is at least a current problemYeah...especially when he's making some throws that we haven't seen here in a very, very long time, to the sidelines, the corners of the EZ, and now even the lasers he has shown he can throw to or inside the hashmarks.
Unreal.
We should be recruiting the tallest WRs out there. Brandon Coleman would absolutely thrive with Gavin slinging the rock.I think you have to agree throwing too high is at least a current problem
based on our first half against Indiana
I sure hope he can settle down
he had th corner on the Dremel throw but the problem is as defined, jump ball- we played it safe enough to scoreWhy inside the 10 with very little time left do we not throw a jump ball to strong? He has shown he can do it and none of the other guys present that possibility head scratching.

What's wrong with you sometimes? Don't recall anyone (except for al?) who ever said such a thing.didnt some guy post that Gavin could contend for the Heisman in the next 2 years
Why do you bother? He's just one argumentative, ignorant poster.Best QB we've had since Teel. You keep just repeating the same stat that has been debunked numerous times. How did I ignore tge 2 INT’s the figured into my response. You just have a bad habit of not caring about anything but what you think. The 2 INT were not both on him. The 3 drops were not on him.
Forget the throw aways- they could be argued. But 3 clear drops and a 4 th that became an int actually makes him on target for 17-24 1 INT 1 TD and add in another 40 yds. Plus the 2 point play.
Not really. Watch more closely next time, whatever "virtually every single pass" even means.Hope he has a better 2nd half he missed virtually every single pass in 1st half
It means there were a ton of open passes that did not go into receivers hands for a reception. Really not to hard to figure out big guyNot really. Watch more closely next time, whatever "virtually every single pass" even means.
Guess 39 yds is pretty dam good midway thru 3rd. But running well. Every play now will be to run down IU defenseIt means there were a ton of open passes that did not go into receivers hands for a reception. Really not tonhsrd to figure out big guy
U both are right. Some drops some bad passesIt means there were a ton of open passes that did not go into receivers hands for a reception. Really not to hard to figure out big guy
