I didn't know it was on the official site. I knew there was an unexplainable absence of fluff for a Gene Swindoll article.

the SS we signed from Binn. Evidently, this is purely a defensive sign. Batting average was dismal last year and is this year, especially for that level.

Although only a Jr. in high school. Saltillo has a SS that is defensively excellent and can hit (at least high school pitching). So it isn't like there are not players out there and Powers is only a soph.

Just seem like a strange sign.
