You can get a GA ticket all over Omaha. All the scalpers will have multiple booklets of them. Random people and businesses will have them.

They oversell the absolute hell out of GA and then you have to hope you are in line early enough to get in. If you don't mind lines, then go for it. I have done it before but not this deep in the tournament.

So if I were to buy a GA ticket from a scalper, how early

Do I need to be in line to get into the stadium?

Bump. Reserved tickets are getting more and more expensive. Trying to weigh options. I'm not driving all the way up to not be able to get in the gate.

I was there for the first two games and scalped general admission tickets for $10 a piece about 4 hours before the game. Me and a few buddies got in line about an hour before they opened the gates and got our pick of seats (we sat front row in front of the left field bullpen both games). I think the gates open 2 hours before first pitch, so I would be in line around 3 hours before first pitch. Before they let the line move up to the gates it will feel like your #5000 in line, but you will be fine getting in.

Life Saver: Do like we did and buy a styrofoam cooler. Fill that 17er up to the brim with beer. Drink while you are in line. You will have everyone and their mother telling you that you aren't allowed to bring coolers inside but thats ok. Once you get to the stairs leading up to the gate, the security guards will throw it away for you and you can enter the game. The hour in line will fly by.

We'll see y'all up there for the Championship!

My question is that the place will be LOADED with State fans. I don't anticipate these next three games being near as easy to get in as last week's. I'm hearing you aren't getting a reserved ticket from a scalper for under $150 bucks. They oversell the hell out of GA tickets... but like I said, I'm not driving up there to risk not getting in the gate. Anyone up there... has anyone heard anything regarding GA tickets and the likelihood of not getting in?

They state they allow 5,000 in GA but I would imagine it is flexible for the championship. For example they had over 26k in the stadium for last year's final but it supposedly holds 24k. I am guessing much of the difference was GA.

I didn't pounce on tickets when I had a chance because I was waiting for a friend to decide if he was coming. Now I am either going to pay nearly $200 or I need to also chance GA. Unfortunately I will likely watch from the big screen unless a single shows up for a decent price.

I'm not paying over $40 bucks for a ticket, period....

I'm doing GA tickets for Monday night...there will be tickets and you will get in for less than $75 per ticket. I understand why you are nervous though.

Bogey I hope you are right. Maybe it changes at the end since so many people bought championship tickets and their teams are now out but on Saturday of our first game we found no one selling reserved, just GA. We looked for a while. We were trying to upgrade to better reserved seats.
