Sorry, the "they" I was talking about was North Carolina. I was just saying that Carolina has a talented squad, but underperformed all season (and Kansas was the first example I had in my head of a similar team). But what they do in the tournament really shouldn't validate their selection, since these are new data points and the committee's principles and procedures are based on what you've done to date, not who they think the most talented team might be moving forward.
Kansas is an enigma to me. I kept waiting for them to turn it on all season, but they never did...they have a lot of talent, but hard to expect them to suddenly flip the switch after what they've demonstrated the past 4 months.
