Christian returns from Italy to take Bryant job

Went to one in Cherry Hill, NJ. Big-time coaches fulfilling a contract. Organizing a practice by Jim Boeheim, "We have everything in 5 minutes after practice starts on Day 1." Bobby Cremins on Building an offense - "Set a dounle pick for Mark Price to shoot a 3. Run the same action throw a lob to John Salley to dunk." Had a good time at Coaches Hours, though.
Very similar experiences with many big time guys. Part of the reason I dont like Buzz, more so that hes a dick but trying to sound smart at coaches clinics when you run very basic stuff is another reason. Yes Boeheim is a top of the line POS person too.
Huggins and Billy Donovan were great at these clinics. Huggy would also buy everyone drinks at the bar after the presentation and draw plays on napkins for you.lol
Huggy was great….Nike clinic years ago in Springfield, Ma. Huggy speaking at 7-8. He gets up to speak, looks at the program and loudly states, “out of bounds plays! I flew up here from Pittsburgh to talk about fvcking o-b plays! No effing way… how about my motion offense?” He was hammered, but his speech was awesome. I installed his 5 out offense that year… it was great.
Never saw Huggins. Everybody walked out on Cremins and his overhead projector. I made it 20 minutes and was one of the last ones there. Couldn't root for him after that. Fran McCafferty was another one that a made a poor impression albeit under different circumstances.
From camp experiences, John Chaney, Herb Magee and Pete Carrill were the best of the best from the collegiate level.
