In a reply to the post where the alleged MSU football DJ takes requests for the fall, I found this number:

You know classy people don't listen to that.

Does this mean that AC/DC has two guys in their band named Van Halen, but Van Halen doesn't?

......I used to have some old posters in my office - The Who, Hendrix, Garcia and some others. This dude comes in, takes one look at my Who poster and says "great shot of Zeppelin!" Never mind that it's the Who's better, Who's best poster. All I can say is "You bet."

Must be the same guy.</p>

Or maybe, "a waffle machine"

I don't think I could really blame anyone for screwing up Bush lyrics. Freaking British...

I also liked when Michael Stipe sang "Let's pee in the corner, let's pee in the spotlight"

One of my all time favorite songs, and Pearl Jam is awesome, but it is pretty hard to understand Eddie in this one. I've heard some people sing some crazy lyrics.

buddy of mine was singing it at the top of his lungs. Instead of "Lay me down in sheets of linen" it was, "Lay me down now, she's a-grinnin'"

Roommate: "Here I go again on my own. Like a drifter I was born to wear cologne"

Me: Seriously?

Roommate: Well a drifter would stink, so he would need cologne.

Although Richard Page (their lead singer) did sing some backup vocals for Toto and was once offered the chance to replace Bobby Kimball as the lead singer for Toto, but turned it down.

BTW, missing my "'Scuse me while I kiss this guy" post by 3 minutes in a thread this long is no great sin. I was kind of disturbed by that lyric for years until I found out it was really "Scuse me while I kiss the sky."

I'm actually kind of proud that I busted you on some music trivia. You know your stuff pretty good.

that is one I had in the memory banks as being a Toto song. Must have been a hard year that year.

in my head I had that song as being a Toto song, but obviously it isn't. As I said in the other post, guess that was a really fun year for me or something. Good stuff, Pat.
