You are correct in your statement but if this was the other way around most state fans would be saying what OM fans are saying and most OM fans would be saying what msu fans are saying. That is what irks me. If you (i don't mean you personally, I mean the fan base) are going to judge him so quickly and harshly as an OM recruit then should you do it for your own if the occasion should arise. I will be honest it this is proven true I don't want him on the team but I am witholding judgement until he is found guilty.
But he will never be found guilty. What will your judgement be when he pleas to a lesser charge?
Also, MSU fans roundly criticized Sly "The Right Way" Croom and his team's off-the-field problems. Hell, there was even a Fire Croom website that chronicled all the players he had that had been arrested.

Look, I don't condone this ****. If he beat up his girlfriend, then he's a trashball. It makes it hard to pull for him. But the indignation on this board is comical. There are people here who genuinely don't remember that they were on the exact opposite side of this argument at this exact time of year just five years ago. Your boy patdog above implies that he should be kicked off the team. People in this thread are saying that State should "pull his offer" (as though he is still considering it). From what I recall, Bowman retained his offer, signed it, and played two years, no doubt garnering lots of applause from these same hands that are so righteously wringing right now.</p>
