Congrats to the North Carolina All Stars and Head Coach David Gentry on the 55-24 win over South Carolina in the Shrine Bowl.....announcers said it's the most points NC has ever scored in the Shrine Bowl in 81 years....not bad, not bad at all........

But but but...he can't coach at that level. NC will get destroyed. He obviously brought some kids with him from the early college and alternative school.
Happy! Have been pushing for him to be selected for years. True football guy. As well organized as any coach!

Coach Gentry will always give credit elsewhere.
Note that he had a pretty impressive staff. Two of his assistants are also state champions (Tim Carson - Weddington and Kevin Gillespie now at Asheboro formerly Page) and like Coach Gentry are repeats from last year due to playing in the rescheduled state title games which was the second for both. DBs coach played the position at UNC (with Pisgah's David Singleton).
Mount Airy's Coach Holder would have made a nice addition too the coaches !
