With a 20-41 overall record why would he be a candidate for the Hartwood job ?
Maybe for one last ride? I don’t know. I don’t know his current relationship with the administration to make an educated guess either way.
Hartwood has not started the hiring process for coaches yet. They have not even begun the interview process for an Athletic Director yet.
While Stafford Schools as a division pays fairly well for head football coaches (& provide $30k+ additionally for the coach to hire a coaching staff), the division is deeply unserious with their hiring timeline for administrators & coaches with this new high school. There will be quite a bit of unnecessary embarrassment in year one due to the division acting like they’ve never opened a new high school before.
Purchasing for the materials needed for so many programs should already be happening, but the leadership is still actively asking their subordinates to tell them what to buy. If they had hired some key positions already, those people could lead in this area. Instead you will have a marching band without uniforms, and coaches without what they need to succeed in year one. Totally avoidable issues & very revealing of unprofessional (and overpaid) people willing to attempt to build the plane while it’s in the air.
Poor leadership is really showing itself in Stafford County with this new high school opening. But it’s not new. These leaders are failures without accountability.
