Opener at 2A Marion. In the latest VHSL rankings, GW is #4, Chilhowie #5 in the 1A West.
GW is the perennial power in A1. Chilhowie is rebounding from 2 down seasons, in which
They won only 3 games.

Both teams are well known for their football, both have won State Titles. GW is talented, with
Many skilled athletes, along with size and speed. Chilhowie has several skilled athletes also,
With a steady group of Seniors, and several talented sophomores. This will be the best team
Chilhowie has faced this year. GW has played the toughest schedule.

This game sould be a high scoring one, as both schools can light up the scoreboard. The
Winner of the game will pick up a bucket of power points. GW is the favorite, in my opinion.
Can Chilhowie Play with GW: Only if they play Defense.......Period !
