I almost run away from recruits whenever I do see them- which is rare- because I DON'T want to be involved with anything.
That happens when your alma mater gets dinged for giving Doug Buckles 20 bucks to eat.
I agree that the best thing to do is run away, but at the same time what mechanisms are in place to keep this from happening. At the end of the day, this was neither a secondary violation and the callers real name wasn't released. Whats to say many Bears, for example, from saying "hey you get reprimanded and kicked off a website, that you can simply create a new user for, but I think I have something that will help flip Kailo Moo?re and its worth the risk to contact him because the NCAA nor anybody else can touch me.
As bad as it sounds, there is no punishment from the NCAA or school for doing this. I would never consider doing this because I think its really freaky and putting your priorities in life in the wrong place, but I can certainly see that sense there is no deterrent in doing this, how people may feel justified to do it.
