<font size="2">Mississippi State's season-opening football game will be televised
by SportSouth in the state of Mississippi and on select Fox Sports Net
affiliates throughout the nation.
While the game will be on DirecTV
(Channel 649) and Dish Network (Channel 437) within Mississippi, several cable
outlets do not offer SportSouth. Per a Fox Sports spokesperson, the following
cable companies do NOT offer SportSouth in these markets...
- Comcast
does NOT offer SportSouth in Hattiesburg, Meridian or Tupelo
- Cable One does
NOT offer SportSouth in Gulfport, Biloxi, Pascagoula, McComb, Cleveland,
Grenada, Natchez or Yazoo City
DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&T carry
both FOX Sports South and SportSouth in all areas of Mississippi they
serve.
Outside the state of Mississippi, fans can locate the game on
