Lot of smoke but no fire yet.
I'll believe IT when I see it. BTW, you don't get to claim calling something after the fact, so ******** on your "second sign."
As the cam situation proved, it doesn't matter how many dozens of people die of smoke inhalation, if nobody can show concrete proof of the flames, nothing ever gets done about it.
Crazy at it sounds, I'm starting to believe they just out-worked Georgia, and a lot of others in the SEC. The article in the CL didn't make it sound like he decided out of the blue--it was reportedly a long process: http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20130217/SPORTS030103/302180001/ I don't think any program is squeaky clean, and especially not OM, but it's hard to imagine bribing a 5 star that has never heard of you, without them telling the media--"D*mn, the Rebels will throw some righteous coin at you." Is the whole system so corrupt that the top HS players are largely on the take? Take a desirable location in the South, gorgeous woman, great weather-- and most of all early playing time-- then get the whole fan base involved, and why wouldn't they consider you? There is a lot to offer--and WE have largely the same attraction. Maybe there is hope for us yet--we just need OUR staff to hustle, and to get our fans aboard. Otherwise, how do you get "to the next level" when you consistently have recruiting classes that would get the HCs at Bama, TAMU, Georgia and LSU fired? We can't possibly make a move in the West when every team that beat us has a top 10 recruiting class--most of them year after year--and we struggle to break 25. We need this to be true...
Everyone is concentrating on the five stars that OM signed. However, the only way to prove a violation is to go to the five stars they didn't sign.
For example, Chris Jones was committed to MSU for months. Nonetheless, he clearly stated in the video I saw that on the night before signing day he was 80% certain he was going to sign with OM. All anyone has to do is have Chris pass a lie detector test before the NCAA explaining exactly what it was that OM offered him to change his mind from MSU to OM. Nothing could be easier.
putting a current player in jeopardy b/c of trying to nail OM isn't a great idea
And just for the record, I don't think we "cheated"
Richt has been personally recruiting Tunsil for over 2 years, Hard. Georgia has everything and more than Ole Miss has to offer. Something changed his mind on his OV, doesn't mean it has to be illegal but 2 years of work was undone in 2 days. Must have been something really good.
especially the ones in state. So if something really good did occur on Tunsil's OV at OM to change his mind, then something really good also must have occurred at the OV's of the recruits that picked AU, Clemson, etc over UGA close to signing day.
The hope is he can push a case against them without ever having to "hear" the case.I fail to see how Adams joining the infractions committee has any bearing on UMiss. IF UGA did turn UMiss in over Tunsil, Adams probably would not be able to hear the case.
So the coeds wear as little as possible--aint that great for recruiting? Beats -7 in Minneapolis. Matter of preference, but I love no real winter and long, hot summers.
