Germans? Ole Miss Homecoming Queen 2012

I think this was killing two birds with one stone!
The first 200 pound plus Homecoming Queen and she also happened to be of a darker complexion than ol' Cornel Reb himself and any of his brethren. Although there is evidence that a third bird may have also been knocked off that same branch... something to do with transvestites.

I don't see the problem.
When I was in high school, all the poplar and pretty girls were bitches so we voted in a nice but unpoplar and not so pretty girl. It meant the world to that girl and you guessed it the poplar girls were bitches about it and told the teachers we did it as a joke. When we explained why we voted for the girl, the teachers understood and told the poplar girls to 17 off. Not saying that's what happened here, but after listening to an interview from their homecoming queen, she seems like a genuinely nice person and is probably well liked at Ole Miss and I see why people would vote for her.

I agree with you with vote for the "nice girl" and all. What the point is , it's the plantation that claims such astute beautiful women. This is their homecoming queen? Come on man, you can't see the comedy ?
Definitely and I laughed my *** off when I first saw her because of that reason. Almost as much as I did after reading B'hamsdawg's post. What can I say, it's that private school education...
I get the jokes relating back to Ole Miss and this girl, and honestly... I don't really care about those... but don't some of you find an issue with making fun of the girls appearance? I mean... all she did was win homecoming queen and hasn't done anything publicly (that I know of) that would warrant any kind of criticism. I just find some of that to be pretty childish and low.
Kind of interesting that they had their first African American Homecoming Queen and ASB President in the same year. I actually know the ASB President. She was a couple of years younger than me and we went to the same high school. She is legitimately smart and has that student body politics personality. I don't really question her election because I would have voted her in myself.
Nobody is critiquing the girl. We're questioning the school that redshirts Miss Americas. Maybe they over signed one year and ended up with this.
Granted... both of them were from Andy, but this is the second thread that I've seen posted about this girl with similar comments. Again... I even said that I get the majority of the jokes be it about race or the fact that she's not a runway model (which...I think is pushing it, but whatever). It's no different to me when a lot of posters here were making fun of one of our cheerleaders because of her size. ***** weak.
The girl won homecoming queen. Good for her.
You are correct. I skim-read the article on her a while back. Here is the link. The link to it said "First Female African-American President." I definitely missed that.

I would think, or at least hope, that State fans bring her up is more in reaction to OM fans' previous negative comments about State's overweight cheerleader, and also in reaction to OM fans constantly bragging about having the best looking students/everything. So yeah, "they started it".
And you have to admit, the girl getting elected IS pretty unusual when you look at the history of homecoming queens, even in the South.
I think it's kinda cool, OM voting that girl homecoming queen. What would be funny is if she wasn't nice and was just as bitchy as all the others.
