Hey guys my name is Sam and I'm a Houston fan. I write a blog with 2 of my best friends called Scott & Holman about UH sports, college football and really any topic that catches our interest.

One of our projects during the long, hot and boring Texas summer is to preview and rank all 120 Division 1-A football teams. MSU was featured in our most recent write-up and so I figured I'd share with you guys:

Getting to Know the MSU Bulldogs

Let us know if we messed anything up or really any feedback you have (positive or negative).

Oh and I'm also planning on making the trip to Starkville for the UH/MSU game. Any suggestions on lodging/eating/tailgating?

I feel sorry for you. You posted the wrong logo with aliasing. The ninja will not be pleasant when he hunts you down.

Secondly, Croom did not resign. He "resigned" The difference being that the ninja fired his walrus ***.

Other than that - pretty spot on. Our freshmens are going to be key - unfortunately we have the toughest schedule in the history of MSU football to deal with.

I really don't care though about people pimping their site. This site stands on it's merits.

It was a good write-up.

was that you linked to Gene's page. That's not an MSU board, that's a magical place where unicorns poop edible rainbows and everybody's always happy...other than that, great job!

I just tried to have all the MSU sites I could find.

We have a UH board that's kind of a "everything is happy, happy and great" and one that isn't heavily censored and allows real UH talk.

So I understand.

Anyone have any lodging and/or dining suggestions for Starkville?

or if you are looking for a place to have a meal and a drink and watch a game any of the local bars would be a good choice. Mugshots and Barristers have some pretty good food.

I don't think we're going bowling this year without some substantial luck, but I do think Mullen and his staff know what they are doing and will get us back to bowls with some regularity in the future. In any event it's going to be a fun ride.

You also left out one of our greatest nightspots, Level III. Hopefully they will have an event that weekend that you and all your buddies can check out after the game, but they have a strict dress code so be sure to wear a polo and slacks. They serve an awesome drink called "Reparations", just ask the friendly people outside where you can order them and they will be sure to help you out.

Also Budweiser has a special promotion going on where if you see the car they have sponsored here in town be sure to honk at the driver while pointing at him. If he sees you do this he will pull over and give you a six pack of bud. Enjoy your stay!
