At this point I don't care. As I said, if he plays fine, if not, we will be fine without.

I'm not at that point. I'm just saying I will be far more concerned with the guys playing. I still think Giles will be one of them at some point.
Coach Capel literally just said a few days ago that Harry is at 100% physically. Where on earth would you get "he won't play at all" from that?
He's been at or close to 100% for about a month. There's no perfect time to come back from a major injury and with the NBA looming, not playing in great work in games like next week makes you wonder.
I'm not at the point where I don't care whether Harry plays or not because he's a Blue Devil. He's one of ours and I care about him. And he reeeaaallly wants to play. And if you haven't seen him wait until you do. He plays with so much joy and emotion. He'll challenge Amile for the team lead in post shot flexes. So I do care if he plays because I want to watch him play college basketball even it's just for a little bit.
i feel for that young man. He's a basketball player and he hasn't been able to play in a full game since the summer of 2015. He commits to the best program in the country which is in the best conference in the country and for the best coach in the country and all he can or is allowed to do is watch. You know how many kids dream of putting on that uniform and stepping out on the Cameron floor or in New York City? It's downright tragic for that young man. I mean it must absolutely be killing him.
He will play. Its coming. Just not sure it's next game. Still a remote possibility.
Harry is playing guys, please calm down...unless he reinjures a knee if 5 on 5s we will finally see our full juggernaut together at once this week.
What gets me is K usually never gives an exact date when a player is going to come back.Its always he's close, he'll be back soon or whatever. He did, no clue why?? If anything that sounded like K was actually pushing him to play a little and it being Giles decision whether he plays or not. Rather then K holding him back Then capel comes out yesterday and said they don't know when he will play. he's 100% phisicaly. They haven't had a chance to practice 5 on 5??? I'm not blaming anybody. I'm just stating it doesn't make sense, and I'll wonder if he plays at all, if he doesn't play in these 2 games. Just sounds like escuses and more smoke screens to me. I feel for Giles. it's got to suck getting ready to be a millionaire at 18 and having the opportunity to get a degree at Duke! Lol id gladly swith places with him! I hope he continues to get/stay healthy though.
Have no insight information on the matter at all, but it just seems like nobody is hoping to be out there more than Harry. It would be extremely surprising to me if we don't see him play this season.
Personally I think it happened this way because Giles has been 100% for a couple weeks. K took it slow and could pick when he would come back, plus Giles is getting a little anxious. Now with normally injuries he doesn't give a date because he truly doesn't know until game day, but this situation he does know ahead of time.
Again this is just my opinion, and I don't have any facts that support this theory.
Last thing I heard about Giles playing was directly from K saying it would be Monday or Wednesday. What have I missed since then? Has he or anyone with Duke said anything different since then?
Some inside info that Harry won't play tomorrow, but nothing from the program yet.
You know whether Harry plays or not for us Coach K is going to be criticized. If he plays Harry it will be for selfish reason and winning at all cost even if it jeopardizes his career. If he doesn't play this year it will also for selfish reasons. OFC
I take everything with a tiny grain of salt when it comes to his timetable. It seems to change every few days. I saw an article on USA Today written just today talking about how he will make his debut tomorrow, haha.
I just read an article about Giles and it seems like him choosing to wear #1 has a special meaning behind it. He lost one of his closest friends in a car accident when he was 15 and she was 14. She played basketball and wore the #1

Awww...Nasty....don't put me on the spot! Ok. uhhhhhhhhh. I think he gets a few minutes out there tonight. BUT, if they hold him out tonight, next game is a fo sho !
I also predict he is clunky and off speed his first 3 or 4 games. Don't expect that guy in the mix tape above just yet. the kid hasn't even played a game in a year and a half!
I am pretty sure that Giles could play 5 minutes, commit 5 fouls and turn the ball over 5 times and go 0 for 10 from the field and you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off the faces of Duke fans. LOL

Rushed back from a hammy injury that could've hampered your adult city league basketball future compared to multiple knee injuries that could hamper HG from making millions and millions of dollars. The comparisons are endless...
I expect if he plays to be a little rusty but also not be terrible .i think he will show a few flashes of why he's the number 1 high school player in the country his first game! i just hope he try's to let the game come to him and doesn't try to do to much right off the back. Running up and down the court ,passing the ball, maybe a block on D, .fast break dunk would be nice! Lol couple turnovers .This is all if he plays of course.fingers crossed.
This is the type of game where he doesn't have to do as much and can just let his talent shine. Run the court, hit the glass, take an open 3, etc.
