Going back many years I`ve seen some really futile efforts

The team had their shoulders slumped and heads down from the start and it radiated back up into the crowd quickly. This was a game Mullen really needed to win and didn`t even compete. Hell, I noticed it this morning in the junction, seemed extremely dead and like we were mourning someone's death at a funeral. Guess it should've been a night game because we saw which team responded well to an early game and it certainly wasn't us. Usually things before the game are loud and everyone is into it, but just nothing, the crowd was flat before the game even started.
