I know location plays a big part but I'm curious as to how many people are planning on going? Last year we had a better record and went to a more prestigious bowl but we **** the bed at the end of the year and it seemed, on here at least, that not as many people were as excited about going. I know it being in Jacksonville and having been there two years before had a little to do with it also. It just seems like the fan base is more excited this go round and are more likely to travel to the game which I'm sure directly has to deal with how we ended the season. I'll be +1 and going wherever it may be. Hopefully I'll see you at the SPS tent, I'll be in the maroon bow tie and suspenders **

I'm finally over last year's finish. Even at 6-6, the wool has returneth. Dak Prescott is the new Russell Wilson, or something like that.

The Gator Bowl was tough on me because it fell during the week. The only way I could attend was flying in the morning of the game and flying out after the game. $1100 for airfare just wasn't worth it.

If it's a weekday game it needs to be close which Memphis is. Birmingham is on Saturday so that works as well.

You better plan on Liberty Bowl.
[h=4]Steve Erhardt (Head of Liberty Bowl) said today on Sports 56 in Memphis they had worked out[/h]
a deal to Get MSU.

Yeah. Even though we finished 2 games worse overall, I feel better about this season. The schedule was much tougher and we finally fought through some adversity and won a couple of tough games.

Not sure how they actually rank relative to one another, but the Liberty Bowl has a better "feel" about it. Going to Birmingham just seems like the pits, and as bad as Memphis may be, it's better than Birmingham. For me, B'ham is much closer, and I'm not sure if we'd go to Memphis or not. After 2007, I swore I'd never go to another LB.

Ditto, I think we will play well in the bowl game

And look forward to being there. I had no interest last year. I knew the bears were gonna whip our *** and would carry over to the bowl.

Liberty Bowl has got major changes since 2007. You won't even recognize all the upgrades. Weather will be the issue at either bowl. If you go, stay downtown by Peabody. Just about every hotel is already sold out. I went last year and had a really good time. I couldn't make Gator.....If it works out, they will have a big street party on the 30th for State on Beale Street like they had for Iowa State last year....

MagicDawg +5, no matter where we end up.

I would not miss the opportunity to be present at State's first streak of 4 consecutive bowl games (and God willing, 5+).

Last year's loss stunk up Jacksonville, but I am re-energized and expect a win in Memphis.

Magic Dawg, party of 6. Memphis, Birmingham, or if God-forbid something crazy happens and we end up falling to Shreveport, I don't care. We'll be there.

Resolved and family will be there...Memphis, B'ham or Shreveport. Ok, maybe not Shreveport. If it's B'ham, stay downtown and take shuttle to the stadium. If Memphis, join the crowd at the Peabody. If Shreveport, I'm gonna "Wallace" in front of my TV at home and enjoy hell out of it.

Man I hope it is Memphis. STATE fans always pack it. Usually cold as hell but dammit is always fun.
